The guys over at Trendpimp have listed their top 5 favorite 5-Star luxury hotels in Dubai. We just got back from a trip to Dubai on business and had the pleasure of staying in the Emirates Towers which was quite the luxury hotel in itself. Dubai is quickly becoming the worlds top destination for business and pleasure due to the lavishness they provide, even for a fair price! You might want to take a trip now though before the US dollar gets even worse! Luckily for me I didn’t have to convert my USD as we’re from Canada.
The Taj Palace Hotel in Dubai is one of my favorite places to stay when I’m vacationing in Dubai. I get out there every other year and the friendly staff never forgets a friendly face! The 2010 Winter Olympics held in Whistler is rapidly approaching and the amount of rental real estate is quickly becoming more of a fantasy than reality. The going rate for 1 months use of a luxury home in Whistler for the 2010 Olympics is going to run you about $100,000! The good folks at Bamja have a some pretty luxurious listings that caught my eye the other day. Besides the odd Craigslist posting specifically for the 2010 Olympics, we’ve been noticing a lot of Whistler home owners are biting the bullet and making use of their much desired property. If I owned in Whistler I’d also have a hard time figuring out if I should rent my own place or take advantage of a once in a life time opportunity. Whistler lodging and accommodations available through Bamja.com for your next winter ski vacation or summer golf vacation in Whistler Blackcomb, BC, Canada. We offer a variety of home owner direct Whistler accommodations and lodging for rent.
Interlaken is one of the most beautiful places I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. In the heart of Switzerland lies a place that will no doubt become one of your most cherishable vacations. The quaint yet vibrant town that lies of the base is full of shops, hotels and some of the finest dining. Interlaken caters to any crowd so if you want to bring the whole family or just the wife, there is something here for everyone!
Some of the finest skiing in the world happens to be parked upon the hills that lie high above the snug little Interlaken town. Interlaken’s prime location offers access to the famed Jungfrau Top Ski Region of Switzerland, which includes the resorts of Grindelwald, Mürren, and Wengen. The Junfrau region provides 213 kilometers (113 miles) of downhill trails accessed by 45 cable cars and lifts. There are three main skiing areas within the region: the Mürren-Schilthorn, the Kleine-Scheidegg-Männlichen, and the Grindelwald-First area.
There are a few resort towns that are a must for any ski or snowboard lover. The first ski resort on the agenda is Grindelwald which is tucked up away in the Swiss Alps. People who are looking for a more laid back and slow paced ski resort should look no further. Mount Grindelwald is a picture perfect ski range with some of the finest scenery in the world!
