Interlaken Ski Vacations in Switzerland
Interlaken is one of the most beautiful places I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. In the heart of Switzerland lies a place that will no doubt become one of your most cherishable vacations. The quaint yet vibrant town that lies of the base is full of shops, hotels and some of the finest dining. Interlaken caters to any crowd so if you want to bring the whole family or just the wife, there is something here for everyone!
Some of the finest skiing in the world happens to be parked upon the hills that lie high above the snug little Interlaken town. Interlaken’s prime location offers access to the famed Jungfrau Top Ski Region of Switzerland, which includes the resorts of Grindelwald, Mürren, and Wengen. The Junfrau region provides 213 kilometers (113 miles) of downhill trails accessed by 45 cable cars and lifts. There are three main skiing areas within the region: the Mürren-Schilthorn, the Kleine-Scheidegg-Männlichen, and the Grindelwald-First area.
There are a few resort towns that are a must for any ski or snowboard lover. The first ski resort on the agenda is Grindelwald which is tucked up away in the Swiss Alps. People who are looking for a more laid back and slow paced ski resort should look no further. Mount Grindelwald is a picture perfect ski range with some of the finest scenery in the world!

There is a really cool new channel coming to cable and satellite television. It is The Ski Channel. They say they will have everything you can do on a mountain and all mountain activities such as skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, backpacking, climbing, basejumping, etc. So little of this is on television now.
